Founded by a team of passionate photographers and creatives in 2022, GMedia Group brings together diverse talents and perspectives to deliver exceptional photography and reporting.
Our Approach
Sports Coverage
GMedia maintains a broad, inclusive coverage mandate and does not restrict reporting to specific schools or athletic conferences. We have been proud to cover and report on both prep sports as well as NCAA D1 and D3 Schools.
Our coverage strategy involves two main pillars:
- Highlighting high-profile matchups and major events in the spotlight.
- Working proactively with coaches and athletic departments to provide media exposure to under-covered teams and athletes who might otherwise be overlooked by larger outlets.
Community Event Coverage
GMedia does not restrict coverage to certain organizations or event types. We employ an inclusive approach that covers both large, high-profile community events (festivals) as well as smaller, local organizational activities that may not receive attention from other media outlets.
Our coverage is determined by the event’s newsworthiness, community impact, and ability to showcase the diversity and positive aspects of local life. We proactively work with community leaders and local non-profits to highlight groups and causes that are often overlooked.
Geographical Coverage: Our primary area of focus encompasses the Northwest Suburbs extending west into DeKalb County, Illinois.
