DeKALB, IL- Aurora Marmion Academy emerged as the premier program at the 2025 Don Flavin Dual Team Invitational held at DeKalb High School. The Cadets finished the two-day event as the only undefeated team in the 32-school field, posting a perfect 6-0 record to secure the title. The tournament honors the legacy of Don Flavin, who founded the DeKalb wrestling program in 1954 and led the Barbs to a state championship in 1968 before coaching at Northern Illinois University.

The competitive landscape was highlighted by several teams following closely behind Marmion Academy. Elmhurst IC Catholic, Frankfort Lincoln-Way East, Joliet Catholic Academy, and New Lenox Providence Catholic all finished with strong 5-1 dual records.
