Batavia Bulldogs Score 42 Points in Victory Over Lake Park Lancers

Batavia High School defeated Lake Park High School in a football game on Friday.
Batavia scored 42 points from six touchdowns and six successful point-after-touchdown kicks. Lake Park scored 21 points from three touchdowns and three successful point-after-touchdown kicks.
For Batavia, Henry Hahn (Sr.) rushed for 120 yards and scored three touchdowns. Preston Brummel (Sr.) rushed for 125 yards and scored two touchdowns. Brett Berggren (Sr.) scored one touchdown on a punt return, totaling 94 punt return yards and 105 all-purpose yards.
Batavia’s defense was led by Tony Minnec (Sr.) with 12 total tackles, including 5 tackles for a loss. The team totaled 64 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 interception, which was made by Saimarr Howell (Sr.) and returned for 44 yards. Kicker Caleb Peters (Sr.) made all six of his extra point attempts.
For Lake Park, T. Kemonte Smith (Jr.), E. Carrozzoli (Sr.), and A. Orestano (Sr.) each scored one touchdown. A. Orestano led the team with 104 all-purpose yards. Kicker Kevin Salvach (Sr.) made all three of his extra point attempts.
The Lake Park defense was led by Joey Michelini (Sr.) and Brady Sierra (Sr.), each with 9 total tackles. Michelini also recorded 2 sacks. The team totaled 45 tackles and 4 sacks.
